The Europa League Round of 16 second leg on Thursday, March 18 produced some surprising results, with Spurs’ shock exit at the hands of Croatian outfit Dinamo Zagreb being the biggest headline.

Leading 2-0 from the first leg, Mourinho’s Spurs somehow led their lead slip as Mislav Orsic scored a stunning hat trick to send the English side crashing out.

Arsenal also lost 1-0 to Olympiakos in the second leg, but the 3-1 advantage they secured a week ago was enough to see them go through to the next round.

Manchester United, meanwhile, edged AC Milan 1-0 in Italy to progress to the last eight 2-1 on aggregate.

Paul Pogba marked his return from injury with the deciding goal as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men kept their hopes for clinching silverware this season alive.

Granada also reached the last eight despite going down courtesy of a last grasp winner against Molde in Norway.

Steven Gerrard’s Rangers FC were knocked out after losing 2-0 to Slavia Praha on Thursday in a result which saw them crash out 3-1 on aggregate.

Teams which will battle it out for a place in the last four include: Ajax (NED) Arsenal (ENG) Granada (ESP) Dinamo Zagreb (CRO) Manchester United (ENG) Roma (ITA) Slavia Praha (CZE) Villarreal (ESP).
