Senegalese football star Sadio Mane has tied the knot with his longtime partner, Aisha Tamba, in a beautiful ceremony held in Dakar, the capital city. The surprise announcement of Mane’s wedding caught many football fans off guard, as the forward had notably kept his love life private.
Although Mane had only discussed marriage publicly about two years ago when describing the qualities of his ideal partner, he officially introduced Aisha Tamba to the world in an Islamic marriage ceremony on Sunday, January 7.
Days before his commitment to marriage, Mane showcased his philanthropic side by presenting a newly built stadium to the residents of his hometown, Bambali, just before heading off for his AFCON duties.
Aisha Tamba, born in Casamance, bordering Bambali, shares the same native Mandingo language as her husband and is 19 years old, according to Senegalese news outlet Sene News. She is the daughter of an architect. Mane is said to have noticed Tamba when she was 16 but refrained from approaching her formally due to her minor status.
Instead, he communicated his intentions through his uncle, a family friend, eventually leading to their union.
Mane reportedly supported Tamba in her education, and she is currently a Quran scholar, having dedicated her youthful days to studying at a private institute in Mbao. She is in her final year of school.
As interest in Mane and Tamba grows, the couple has offered a glimpse into their lives through a circulating video clip. Warm wishes and congratulations continue to pour in for the newlyweds as they embark on this new chapter together.
الحمد لله❤️
