A young couple found themselves in an embarrassing situation as their intimate moment was unexpectedly broadcast on the big screen during a cricket match in Australia on Thursday, December 28.
Caught in a “compromising position,” the couple was taken aback when they saw their affectionate behavior magnified on the massive screen. Despite their attempts to shield their faces in embarrassment, the crowd at the Second Test between Australia and Pakistan erupted in cheers.
Adam Collins, a commentator for SEN Cricket, commented on the awkward situation, suggesting that the young couple would prefer not to have the footage circulating globally.
“Two 16-year-olds having a bit of a kiss and cuddle flashed up on the screen, and they’ve immediately covered their faces,” he remarked.
“Obviously, they’re not meant to be having a kiss and cuddle up there at the back of the Ponsford Stand, and the whole crowd has risen as one to them.”

Collins continued to describe the unfolding events, stating, “And one of their mates – assume it’s one of their mates – has run over and given a dig in front of the camera. Here they are for a second time, and they’ve realized, ‘Oh no.’ And now the young fella is walking down the stairs with a jumper over his face, receiving another standing ovation from the crowd.”
The incident occurred during Day Three of the Boxing Day Test at Melbourne’s iconic MCG stadium, with 39,802 fans in attendance. Australia was in a commanding position over Pakistan after already securing victory in the first Test in Perth.
