Dominic Purcell, famed for his role in Prison Break and immortalized through a tattoo on Alejandro Garnacho’s arm, has encouraged the young talent to consider joining Liverpool following his remarkable goal for Manchester United.
Garnacho, at the age of 19, recently showcased what could arguably be deemed the Premier League goal of the season, executing an audacious overhead kick into the top corner during Manchester United’s 3-0 triumph over Everton. Purcell, expressing admiration for the South American’s extraordinary strike, took to social media to extend further praise.

Given the substantial tattoo on Garnacho’s arm featuring Purcell’s likeness, the young player likely found gratification in the actor’s commendation on social media.
However, the euphoria was palpable in Garnacho’s post-match interview, where he exclaimed, “I can’t believe it! I didn’t see how I scored, I just listened to the sound and thought, ‘Oh my God.’ It’s the best goal I’ve scored, of course.”

Crucially for the Red Devils, the victory solidified their standing in the race for a top-four finish this season. The 13-time Premier League champions closed the gap to four points behind fourth-placed Aston Villa, who recently secured a position in the Champions League spots by overcoming Tottenham Hotspur.
Purcell, known for portraying Lincoln Burrows in the popular series, seized the opportunity presented by his visual presence on Garnacho’s arm to playfully suggest a move to Liverpool.

Taking to Instagram, he addressed his followers with humor, stating, “Well if my face – let’s be real Lincoln Burrows’ face – is tattooed on someone, I’m humbled it’s yours. Can I dare say I was there by default when Alejandro scored one of the greatest goals ever witnessed in the English Premier League. Congrats to you son and Manchester United fans. What a beautiful moment. Any chance of a transfer to Liverpool?”
