It’s not a new thing for comedian Eric Omondi to retract into the wild and pray for teams in the Champions league.
The comedian recently did the same for his team Manchester United who were facing Arsenal at home. On socials, Eric shared a video with a bunch of diehard fans praying in the wild hoping that they might get this crucial win.
Things, however, didn’t go their way.
In a thrilling match at the Emirates Stadium, Arsenal secured a dramatic victory over Manchester United with a 90th-minute winner from Eddie Nketiah. The team secured a 3-2 win against Manchester.
The win keeps Arsenal in control of the Premier League title race and gives them a five-point advantage at the top, with a game in hand.
Manchester United’s Marcus Rashford opened the scoring with a stunning right-foot strike, but Arsenal responded fiercely and was level seven minutes later.
Bukayo Saka put Arsenal ahead in the second half, but the lead was short-lived as Lisandro Martinez equalized for Manchester United. Despite late pressure from both teams, it was Nketiah who sealed the win for Arsenal in the closing moments.
