Kenyan TiKToker Abubakr Abass has become an online sensation following his unselfish act of directing fatigued football fans to the Metro station.
Thousands have been mesmerised by the young Kenyan whose geniality and kindness at work have earned him widespread attention.
Through his TiKTok account going by the name fifametroguy, Abbas has been sharing clips helping the fans find their way home in Qatar.
And he’s all doing it for free.
In one of the videos he has shared on Tiktok, the “Fifa Metro Guy” is seen welcoming fans while asking them to feel free to take photos and videos with him.
In another, he’s seen sharing directions out of the stadium and to the metro.
His giving efforts have already started to spread and have even reached the FIFA officials.
In one video he posted two days ago, a FIFA official can be seen gifting him tons of gifts ranging from football jerseys to bags and other sealed items.
“For the first time in my life, I received a gift, thank you Tiktok, thank you my office,” he captioned the video.
The Metro Guy’s fame further shot when he was invited by FIFA officials to a jam-packed stadium before the England and the USA game kicked off.
The Metro Guys, a casual laborer in Qatar, is originally from Mombasa.
