Manchester United has officially inked a new front-of-shirt sponsorship deal with U.S. tech giant Qualcomm, set to kick off from the 2024-25 season. After advanced negotiations, both parties have come to terms on a minimum three-year agreement.
The Red Devils had been actively seeking a replacement for their previous front-of-shirt sponsor, TeamViewer, a German software company.
TeamViewer had previously decided not to extend its five-year contract, which commenced in 2021, valued at £47 million annually.

In December, Manchester United and TeamViewer reached an accord that granted the club the option to reacquire the rights to their front-of-shirt sponsorship. This mutual agreement has resulted in TeamViewer transitioning from shirt sponsor to global partner.
Notably, Manchester United already had an existing partnership with Qualcomm, a prominent manufacturer of telecommunications hardware and semiconductors.
In August 2022, the club announced a collaboration with Qualcomm’s subsidiary brand, Snapdragon, known for powering a wide array of premium smartphones, PCs, gaming devices, connected cars, smart wearables, and more.

Qualcomm will continue to serve as a global partner for the upcoming 2023-24 season as well. Part of their 2022 agreement involved Qualcomm offering expertise to enhance mobile connectivity at Old Trafford, with the aim of elevating the matchday experience for fans.
This new sponsorship deal with Qualcomm comes on the heels of Manchester United’s monumental £900 million 10-year extension with their kit supplier, Adidas, signed in July.
Prior to their arrangement with TeamViewer, the club had a lucrative £64 million-per-season agreement with U.S. automaker Chevrolet, which began in 2014.
