The bother of rally driver Asad khan, Adil Khan believes that there were multiple people at the scene with Maxine Wahome moments before his brother was attacked and injured.
Wahome and Asad who happened to be lovers are said to have had a brutal domestic fight on Jamuhuri Day that saw Khan rushed to ICU following multiple injuries.
He had injuries on his head, abdomen and neck. A huge cut in his leg, just above the ankle, had bled out more than five pints of his blood, according to doctors’ who spoke to Daily Nation.
Neighbours had heard the fight, but they had not intervened.
It was only after the gush of blood from Asad’s leg wound snaked its way to the ground floor that a neighbour knew something was terribly wrong. He rushed up the staircase, only to find Asad sprawled on the landing, unconscious and bleeding heavily. The door to his house was locked from inside and Maxine was indoors.
Maxine remains the prime suspect and she’s currently working with the police to solve the case.
Adil, however, believes more people might have been present at the scene.
“How could they do this to my brother?” Adil asks.
“I don’t know who did it! I just don’t know! Perhaps Maxine knows. She was in the house, but I suspect there was someone else in that house too,” he said to the reporter.
“There were three footsteps in the living room, according to photos of the blood-soaked floor I have seen.”
Maxine and Asad had dated for two years.
