A video of NBA player Draymond Green punching teamed Jordan Pool has gone viral after being leaked to the media from an undisclosed source.
The shocking video shows the Golden State Warriors forward violently attacking Poole, viciously punching him to the ground right in the middle of team practice.
The video was leaked to TMZ forcing the NBA and the team to release a statement regarding the fight.
Green also apologized to the Golden State Warriors on Thursday morning for the altercation according to general manager Bob Myers.
“These things happen. Nobody likes it, we don’t condone it, but it happens,” Myers said. “Draymond apologized to the team. Jordan was there in the room.
Green, 32, could reject his player option for next year and demand he receive a max deal.
Poole, 23, is also waiting on a contract extension, and getting punched in the face by a teammate just gave him incredible leverage in negotiations.
