Spain coach Luis Enrique has promised to live stream World Cup content live from Qatar in his newly opened Twitch account.
The coach said he will do part-time streaming of the World Cup and share inside stories and also give an update to supporters on the Spain team is doing in Qatar.
“Streamers of the world, move aside. I’m going downhill and without breaks,” he said on a video posted on his Twitter account.
He said he wants to establish a connection with fans “without filters” in a way that is more “spontaneous and natural.”
“The idea is to establish a direct connection with you, the fans who may be interested in information about the national team from the perspective of my particular point of view,” he said.
Even though the popular coach lacks professional cameras and sound equipment, he said that won’t stop him from streaming to his fans.

Speaking in his video on Monday, though — recorded in what looked like a dimly-lit office, with a tactics whiteboard in the background — he admitted there’s plenty of work to be done.
“As you can see, I can only improve,” he said. “The lighting for this video is inadequate. My microphone is Third Division. And my face is what it is!”
In a subsequent tweet, Luis Enrique shared a link to his new Twitch channel — which, at the time of writing, had already amassed 60,000 followers even before his first live stream — and a new Instagram account, where he began posting photos last week.
