AC Milan striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic on Friday, March 5 revealed how he had to hitch a motorbike ride to the Sanremo musical festival where he was performing a duet with Bologna coach Sinisa Mihajlovic.
The 39-year old was on his way to the festival when he got stuck in annoying traffic for three hours after an accident.
Typically, superstars of his stature tend to wait out the traffic.
But we are talking about Zlatan here, and nothing about the Swede is typical.
Instead of waiting for traffic to subside, he convinced a fan to take him on a 60km ride to the stage.

“There was an accident on the motorway. After three hours in the car I told my driver to open the door to let me out,” he said.
“I stopped a motorcyclist and asked him, ‘can you take me to Sanremo?’
One slice of serendipity to the story was the fact that the fan who was stopped happens to support Milan.
Despite the noble deed, Ibrahimovic will count himself lucky to have arrived to his destination in one piece as the fan revealed to him it was his first time on the motorway.
Once at his destination, Ibrahimovic performed an awkward rendition of ‘La Vagabondo’ alongside Bologna boss Sinisa Mihajlovic.
