Basketball fans in Kenya were on Friday, March 5 treated to some good news after Nation Media group announced a partnership with the NBA to air matches.
“The national basketball association and Nation Media Group today announced a multiyear partnership which makes NTV the official free-to-air broadcast partner,” a statement released by Nation Media Group revealed.

According to the statement, the agreement means NTV will broadcast 25 live games throughout the 2020/21 NBA season.
Fans of the NBA have already taken to social media to express excitement at the new partnership as it means massive convenience for them when it comes to tuning into games.
As far as Kenyan fans are concerned, their primary problem now will be the timing of the games which typically take place in the wee hours of the morning.
The partnership will also rival other broadcasters like Multichoice.
