Paris Saint Germian forward Neymar has broken his silence on a verified Tinder account under his name that is fast gaining popularity on the online dating platform.
Neymar’s profile has been created on the online dating platform, allowing users to anonymously swipe to like or dislike profiles, depending on their interests.
The profile, because of having such an influential name, gained verification on the app and screenshots of the profile started doing rounds online.
It somehow reached Neymar, who instead of flipping out on someone for using his name to potentially catfish girls, sent a message to the owner of the account.

He posted: “I hope that whoever is using the tinder with my name is representing well huh…” alongside four crying face emoji’s.
To be fair, the 29-year old has taken it very well.
From his response, it is clear that is not him using the profile, despite its popularity.
Brazilian gossip page gossipdodia also took to Instagram to share the tinder profile, deliberately enticing Neymar into responding to whether it belonged to him.
“And there we go! A follower found @neymarjr’s profile on tinder. The profile was verified. Would you like it?” the gossip outlet shared on Instagram.
Neymar was clearly in generous mood on the day as he also afforded them a response, saying, “Whoever is using it is having fun huh, unfortunately it’s not mine.”
At that point, however, it was clear Neymar, who has scored 13 goals in 18 games for PSG this season, was getting irritated.
