Football stars including Lionel Messi, Paul Pogba and Jadon Sancho flaunted their skills in a new exciting Pepsi commercial.
In a new football campaign dubbed ‘Music Keeps Us Fizzing’, Pepsi introduced its partnership with the UEFA Champions League with a star-studded advert.
Messi and Pogba have both previously featured in Pepsi adverts but this was completely new territory for the likes of 20-year old Sancho and Wolfsburg women’s Van de Sanden, 28.
The commercial’s concept is pretty simple, yet extremely unique as a student opens up a can of the drink and his favorite football stars come to life.
Players come to life on the wall and immediately start showing off their skills and tricks while attempting to chase down the can.
The advert also featured an interesting soundtrack – the recently released hit “Rotate” by Becky G and Nigerian star Burna Boy.
Speaking about the ongoing campaign, Barcelona’s all time goalscorer Messi said, “I am excited to once again be a part of the Pepsi Max football squad.
“This year has been so much fun to film; I know fans are going to love it.”
Pogba also commented on the campaign, saying, “This year is even bigger than before with epic football skills and mad tunes. I can’t wait for you all to see it!”
