Iranian player Nader Mohammaddi might have just entered his name in the Guiness World Record books for the longest throw-in ever taken.
The 23-year old, who plays for Paykan FC was in action on Sunday, February 14 against Persepolis in the Persian Gulf Pro League where his side lost 1-0.
But the highlight of the game came late in the game when Mohammadi performed a Sommersault as he transitioned to take a long throw in to the box for his side to tussle for an equaliser.

His throw in was taken from the half way line and somehow, in what was an outrageous sight, managed to get into the box.
In terms of measurements, his throw-in travelled a massive 55 yards, courtesy of his strange technique.
This isn’t the first time he attempted such a throw in as last year, he actually made another audacious one which somehow directly went into the net.
In what is a funny coincidence, in 2018, a different player with the name Milad ‘Mohammadi’ also produced a historic moment in the 2018 World Cup after he kissed the ball, pointed to the sky and took a roll forward before rolling on the ground to throw the ball into play during a game involving Iran and Spain.
