Unlike in the past when it was all about just working out, working out at the gym these days has evolved and touches several other aspects such as fashion, dieting, and even socialization. In comes the Nike Air Max.
We have seen companies spending millions trying to win gym enthusiasts because they understand the benefit it comes with.
Recently, there was a big debate about one of these products; the Air Max shoes and whether they should be used for working out.
Hundreds of fans shared their photos wearing different types of Air Max at the gym something that fueled the argument further.

In reality, Air Max shoes are not good for working out at the gym especially when you are lifting or squatting because they have a lot of cushioning.
Weightlifters need flat shoes with little cushioning because they can push off the ground with stability and balance. This is why a lot of lifters wear Converse to the gym. Air Max don’t offer that. Models like the Air Max 270 won’t keep you grounded to lift the weight in a consistent posture.
The shoes, however, are excellent for training, short runs and warm-ups.
Below are photos of women who proved Air Max aren’t just for the streets but also can fit in the gym.
