Kenyan hitmakers Matata, based in Norway, have just revealed a significant milestone in their music career.
The five-member group excitedly shared the news on their social media that their song ‘Not Today’ has been chosen as one of the official soundtracks for the upcoming EA Sports FC 24 (formerly FIFA) video game, slated for release on September 29.
Kenyan rapper KayCyy, who is based in the US, has also been included in the soundtrack.

Matata’s Joy and EA Sports FC 24 Release Details
In a jubilant message, Matata expressed their gratitude, stating, “Dreams do come true, and ours has become a reality. This achievement surpasses any plans we had for our music. We are still in disbelief!”
EA Sports FC 24 is an upcoming football video game developed by EA Vancouver and EA Romania, published by EA Sports.
It marks the beginning of the EA Sports FC series, following EA’s partnership with FIFA, and it is the 31st installment in the series. The game is scheduled for a worldwide launch on September 29, 2023, and will be available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
