On Saturday, Gor Mahia unveiled a cutting-edge bus at Kasarani Stadium, symbolizing a significant milestone in the club’s journey.
The 42-seater bus was a generous donation from ICT Cabinet Secretary Eliud Owalo, showcasing his Foundation’s substantial support for the club and its former players.
This new addition to Gor Mahia’s assets features state-of-the-art amenities, including galaxy roofing and ambient interior lighting that reflects the club’s traditional colors.
The unveiling ceremony marked a turning point for the club, especially considering the financial challenges it has faced in recent times, leading to the absence of a dedicated bus. The lack of a team bus had posed a substantial challenge for the players during their travels for away matches.
The event, held on Saturday, was graced by key figures, including ICT CS Owalo, Gor Mahia Chairman Ambrose Rachier, and Kasarani Member of Parliament Ronald Karauri.
The presence of these dignitaries underscored the significance of this moment in Gor Mahia’s history, signifying not only a new mode of transportation but also a renewed sense of stability and support for the club.
