Wolfsburg defender Paulo Otavio came up with arguably the most outrageous tackle on a player you will see all season on Saturday, March 6.
The defender cynically brought down Hoffenheim forward Dabbur in stoppage time just as the striker was closing in to score in an empty net.
All that was left was for Israeli Dabbur to slot the ball home but he bought himself a little more time by taking one too many touches, and Otavio ultimately caught up to him.

What ensued was a dangerous flying tackle from behind which inevitably resulted in the referee showing a straight red card.
His efforts only managed to save Wolfsburg from going two goals down because they still lost the game 2-1.
The Brazilian’s tackle on his opponent immediately sent social media in a frenzy with fans finding his tackle quite bizarre.
Others praised Otavio for ‘punishing’ the striker for taking too long to shoot when he had the goal at his mercy.
