La Liga have officially taken football coverage to new levels by adopting the new 8K resolution.
The cutting-edge 8K resolution was in its full glory on Sunday, March 7 during the Madrid derby and fans in particular noticed its extremely high quality when Luis Suarez found the net.

As Suarez celebrated his goal, fans were quick to notice the quality of the video which made the footage look like something straight out of a video game.
La Liga seems to have followed in the footsteps of the NFL in terms of increasing their image quality during matches.

The first glimpse of the ‘8K’ cameras were first witnessed in February when Barcelona clashed with Atletico Bilbao.
These cameras have also been used in a number of fixtures involving Real Madrid, which has one of the biggest fan base in the world.

One thing about the cameras is the fact that it brings viewers much closer to the action with exquisitely fine detail on screen.
As far as the Madrid derby is concerned, it ended in a stalemate as Karim Benzema rescued Zinedine Zidane’s side from defeat with a goal in the 88th minute.
It would be interesting to see such technology in the Premier League.
