It’s not a must to hit the gym to stay fit. Ever since the pandemic, most of us haven’t really left the house fully and returned to normal schedules almost 3 years down the line.

Even as gyms and fitness studios begin to reopen, many people are opting for the convenience or lower-risk option of staying indoors. Whether your new “gym” doubles as your bedroom or living room, these 14 at-home workout routines will keep you moving.

1. Dancing

It doesn’t look like you are excising at all, but dancing can help you stay fit. Put on some music and dance for 15-30 minutes.

2. Shadowboxing

This is another simple yet cheap way of working out in your house. No equipment is needed and it’s just as effective as any other workout regime.

3. Morning Yoga Sequence

Start every morning with 10 minutes of Yoga. The benefits of yoga are wildly known and should not only help you check body weight but also spirit.

4. Cardio workouts

These include Jumping jacks, Burpees, Cartwheels, Mountain Climbers and on-spot jogs. They get your heart racing and also help you burn some fat.

5. Using your body weight

You don’t need to buy weights when you can use your body for that purpose. Push-Ups, sit ups, Dips, Lift ups, among others will also help you strengthen your body using your won weight.

6. Jump Rope

Jumping rope burns calories, elevates your heart rate, and improves coordination, muscle elasticity, and brain function. Plus, it’s fun, easy, and takes up very little space.
