A Lucrative Sponsorship Deal for Shabana FC
National Super League champions, Shabana FC, have solidified a significant partnership as they gear up for the upcoming 2023–2024 FKF Premier League season.

The club has proudly announced Bangbet as their official sponsors, sealing a lucrative deal valued at Ksh 20 Million.
The momentous collaboration, inked yesterday in Nairobi, ushers in a new era for Shabana FC, as Bangbet steps in to provide not only playing but also training kits for the Kisii-based team throughout the forthcoming season.
Governor Arati’s Support and Vision
In the backdrop of this exciting development, Kisii Governor and the club’s patron, Simba Arati, voiced his assurance that the ongoing renovations at Gusii Stadium, the club’s official match and training venue, will be finalized in due time. Governor Arati rallied the community’s leaders and like-minded individuals to rally behind Shabana FC, urging them to transcend petty politics for the betterment of the team.

With a triumphant return to the top-flight league after a 17-year hiatus, Governor Arati rallied the regional leaders to unite in supporting the team’s efforts to shine on the national stage. He praised the culmination of negotiations with Bangbet, expressing gratitude for the sponsorship, and urged the team to give their utmost in the season ahead.
The club’s chairman, Jared Nivaton, underlined the club’s determination to excel in the upcoming season. Bolstering the squad with new signings, Nivaton expressed the team’s aspirations to secure a prominent spot in the 2023–2024 season and eventually clinch the FKF Premier League title in the 2024–2025 season.

Beyond Political Boundaries
Nivaton clarified that the club has a single patron, Governor Simba Arati, and appealed for politics to be kept separate from the team’s affairs. He welcomed all supporters and leaders to contribute positively while maintaining the focus on the team’s performance.
Bangbet’s Chief Executive Officer, Leonardo Veresse, highlighted the company’s commitment to Shabana FC’s success. As the official sponsors for the upcoming season, Bangbet’s support includes three sets of playing kits, training kits, and match balls. Veresse also disclosed a potential bonus, stating, “We will add a further Ksh 10 should the team win the FKF Premier League title.”

Shabana FC is gearing up for an exciting journey in the 2023/2024 FKF Premier League season, joining Gor Mahia and AFC Leopards as community clubs vying for glory.
Their first fixture is set against Muranga Seal in Nairobi on the 27th of this month. The team will then face off against Talanta FC and Police FC in the subsequent rounds, demonstrating their mettle on the field.
