Africa’s fastest man, Ferdinand Omanyala, is swiftly leveraging his partnership with Toyota as he gears up for the challenging 2024 season. Omanyala, renowned for his speed and power on the track, has been actively promoting the Toyota brand since announcing a four-year ambassadorial deal with CFAO Motors Kenya (formerly Toyota Kenya) in December.
In a series of recent promotional posts, Omanyala skillfully associates the Toyota Hilux Double Cab pickup with the pace and dynamism he embodies. His strategic approach to promoting the brand aligns with his reputation as one of the world’s top sprinters.
Following in the footsteps of marathon legend Eliud Kipchoge, who has been the brand ambassador for the Isuzu Dmax pickup since 2017, Omanyala expressed the financial benefits of his Toyota deal, which he signed in June and officially announced on December 7.
Omanyala’s prominence in the world of sprinting has attracted multiple brand partnerships, including deals with betting firm Odibets, as well as endorsements from Adidas, Aids Health Foundation, and Visa, among others.

Speaking to the National Olympics Committee last month, Omanyala emphasized the crucial role his sponsors play in ensuring a successful 2024 season. With Toyota and Visa as Olympic partners, he anticipates a comfortable experience in the Olympic village, having dedicated spaces provided by Visa, Toyota, and Adidas.

Expressing gratitude for the support from his sponsors, Omanyala highlighted the financial stability they bring, eliminating travel-related concerns for him and his team.
As he prepares for the demanding 2024 season, which includes participation in the World Indoor Tour and the Diamond League leading up to the Paris Olympics, Omanyala aims for a podium finish, buoyed by the backing of his sponsors.
