Manchester United’s Brazilian winger, Antony, has quietly returned to the United Kingdom as he prepares to face police questioning regarding allegations of an assault on his former lover, Gabriella Cavallin.

The 23-year-old footballer, who was granted a leave of absence by Manchester United, arrived at Manchester airport after flying in from Spain.
Antony, who is valued at £85 million, reportedly plans to meet with Greater Manchester Police to refute the allegations against him.
He is willing to cooperate fully with the authorities, including providing his mobile phone as part of their investigations.
These allegations stem from an incident that Gabriella Cavallin claims occurred on January 15 in a Manchester hotel.
Antony Denies Wrongdoing Amid Assault Allegations
Antony has vehemently denied any wrongdoing, and in a tearful TV interview, he stated, “I know the truth, and it will come out. I’m 100 percent sure I never touched a woman, and I’ll come up with the evidence. I’m sure I’ve never committed physical violence.”
Antony had previously been voluntarily interviewed by Brazilian police in June and was allowed to leave after cooperating with authorities in Sao Paulo.
Antony’s Commitment to Resolving Allegations
Proactive measures are being taken by him to address the allegations and clear his name, with the aim of moving beyond this distraction and directing his focus back to his football career.
His choice to return to the UK and meet voluntarily with Manchester police serves to underscore his commitment to addressing this matter transparently and expeditiously.
Close attention will be paid by Manchester United and football fans as this situation develops.
