Conor McGregor’s early attempts at hopping onto the music scene have been endorsed by rapper Drake, who recently engaged the MMA fighter in an interesting exchange on social media.
It all started when the Toronto rapper shared a photo of himself with a shark in the back with the caption “Story of my life”.
McGregor then hopped onto the comment section with a reply, saying “”There’s sharks everywhere but there was crocodiles too and look what happened to them. Slippers and bags!”
Drake was clearly impressed by the fighter’s subtle bars and instead of poking fun, he actually gave McGregor some encouragement.
“You got all the bars, drop an album.” Drake replied.

The pair went on to exchange niceties on social media, with McGregor shouting out Drake for his upcoming project ‘Scary Hours 2’
“My brother love you, thank you for the 3 song release. Quality as always! Respect and God Bless to you and the team!” he said in the comments.
Drake has been a long-time celebrity fan of McGregor and has publicly shown him support in his bouts.
He once showed McGregor support ahead of his fight with Nate Diaz and was part of the Irishman’s entourage when he took on Khabib Nurmagomedov.
