British pro boxer Amir Khan recently flexed his financial muscle after buying his one-year old son a Rolex Cosmograph Daytona worth £30,000.
The former unified light-welterweight world champion took to his social media over the weekend to reveal his youngest son Muhammad Zaviyar received the exquisite gift after clocking one year on earth.
“Got my little boy his first birthday present, his watch collection needs to [be] on [point].” He shared on both his Instagram and Snapchat.
According to Khan, he bought his son the watch since he could host a lavish party to celebrate the birthday.
The watch was indeed the real deal as Amir’s wife Faryal Makhdoom gave fans a closer look at it on her own social media.

Its hour markers were studded with real diamonds and the watch was an 18k yellow gold bezel
While £30,000 is indeed a lot of money, for Khan it is almost pocket change, considering the millions he made in his boxing career.
He represented Team Great Britain at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens, Greece where he won the silver medal and held the WBA title from 2009 to 2012.
Aside from boxing, Khan is a philanthropist and owns his own charity the Amir Khan Foundation.
He is also an aggressive businessman and owns his own promotion gig, the Amir Khan promotions and he is also co-owner of the India’s Super fight League.
