There were a number of shock results in the football world on Saturday, February 13 various league producing different shockers.
In the Premier League, Liverpool all but bowed out of the title race after their latest 3-1 defeat at the hands of Leicester City left them 13 points behind leaders Manchester City.

Guardiola’s side, on the other hand, secured another win at the expense of Tottenham to take their victorious streak to 15 games in all competitions.
While the Premier League leaders are well spoken for, the same can’t be said about the Italian Serie A as leaders AC Milan succumbed to a shock 2-0 defeat to minnows Spezia.

That result blew the title race wide open as Inter Milan could go top of the league with a win over Lazio.
Juventus also blew a chance to close the gap as they were beaten 1-0 by Napoli in another cracker.
In La Liga, Barcelona continued their superb form and they had Lionel Messi to thank as the Argentine scored two brilliant goals as they saw off Alaves 5-1.

Despite their seventh consecutive win, Barcelona still have a long way to go as they sit eight points behind leaders Atletico Madrid, who edged Granada 2-1 in the earlier kick off.
Dortmund continued their struggles in the Bundesliga as goals from Erling Haaland and Jadon Sancho could only salvage a draw against Hoffenheim.
