When you decide to take on the path of bodybuilding, you must be prepared to tackle the small issue of possible injuries.
This was evident in the case of Ryan ‘Big Rig’ Crowley, who suffered a painful-looking injury to his chest while attempting to bench.
While training in Dubai, the 23-year-old attempted to bench press a massive 220 kilos with catastrophic results.

A horrific video doing rounds online shows Crowley bringing down the bar before letting out a terrifying scream as his muscle awkwardly bulges in his chest.
It was clear he suffered a painful tear in the pectoral area.
Luckily, power lifter Larry Wheels was on hand to act fast and take control of the weights.
Crowley inevitably required immediate surgery as he confirmed the news on social media, writing, “Cannot believe it happened, completely tore my pec tendon off the bone.
“I will be having surgery today at 5pm, praying that it gets its shape back and doesn’t ruin the rest of my career In bodybuilding before it’s even started!”

Fans rallied behind Crowley with others even taking to make donations towards his surgery.
No one obviously likes to see an athlete injure himself while on the sport, but for Crowley, some cynics felt he had it coming for trying to move from 180 kilograms to 220 kilograms.
He had never done 220 before and on this occasion, he wanted to take on one single set, which was a bad idea if the results were anything to go by.
