Hours after his contract with Manchester United was officially axed, Cristiano Ronaldo went to social media with what seems to be a subliminal attack on the club hitting the two have officially parted ways.
The Five-time Ballon d’Or winner posted a picture on his Instagram account of a watch engraved with his goal against Manchester United before terminating his contract with the club.
The partnership is between Jacob & Co., a watch brand using his image on the clock face for their designs.
Taking to social media, Ronaldo announced the partnership saying that he was excited and even went on to say that the first watch was designed by Jacob & Co. and him.

The post came moments before he and Manchester United had a mutual agreement to part ways with immediate effect.
The move comes after Ronaldo’s explosive interview with Piers Morgan criticizing the club, its owners and the manager Erik ten Hag.
“Cristiano Ronaldo is to leave Manchester United by mutual agreement, with immediate effect,” the club said in a statement.
“The club thanks him for his immense contribution across two spells at Old Trafford, scoring 145 goals in 346 appearances, and wishes him and his family well for the future.”
