The upcoming Africa Cup of Nations spectacle is already beginning to take shape, with a number of sides already securing qualification.
Harambee Stars unfortunately missed out on qualification after the 1-1 draw against Egypt on Sunday, March 25 and will only have themselves to blame for dropping crucial points earlier in their earlier games.
There are however some surprise sides who have qualified for the spectacle and no team has shocked fans like Sudan.
The Sudanese ensured qualification after collecting all three points in their final Group C qualifier against South Africa which placed them two points above Molefi Ntsek’s side.
Nigeria also booked their ticket for next year’s spectacle after Sierra Leone and Lesotho played to a goalless draw which ensured neither side can catch up to the Super Eagles.
Ghana, following their 1-1 draw against South Africa, secured their ticker to their 23rd Africa Cup of Nations final.
