Gaming firm SportPesa’s CEO Ronald Karauri recently showed his humble side as he was spotted enjoying roasted maize in Narok.
Photos which have gone viral online shows Karauri interacting with Narok residents and at some point, making a stop to buy the classic “mahindi choma”.
The CEO made a stop in Narok county hours after he graced an event in Bomet where he launched a Maternal health support project at Ndarawetta health centre.
“Earlier today we visited Ndarawetta, in Bomet County and gave out kits to a total of 20 teams. Among the teams issued with kits, a team that stood out is called Kabusare F.C. and they were recently promoted to the Branch League,” a post from Sportpesa’s Twitter page read on March 15.
At the event, he delivered hospital beds and supported construction of their kitchen.
Football kits were also distributed while KSh 800,000 was donated to set up a maternity wing at the local dispensary.
